Account & Data Deletion.
This page explains how to delete your account in the HumanizeHer mobile app, available on Google Play and published by HumanizeHer, and how to request deletion of your personal data. The HumanizeHer community app is powered by the Mighty Networks platform.
Leave the HumanizeHer community
You can deactivate your account and leave the HumanizeHer community at any time, either from the Android app or from a web browser:
- Open the HumanizeHer app and sign in.
- Go to Personal Settings → Account.
- Select Deactivate My Account and confirm.
- Log in to your account at community.humanizeher.com in a web browser.
- Click your profile image, then go to Personal Settings → Account.
- Select Deactivate My Account.
Leaving the community stops all notifications and removes your membership, but posts and comments you made may remain visible to other members. To remove them along with your personal data, permanently delete your account (below).
Permanently delete your account and your data
To permanently delete your account and remove all of your activity, posts, and personal data:
- Log in to your account at community.humanizeher.com in a web browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.). Permanent deletion is not currently available inside the mobile app.
- Click your profile image, then go to Personal Settings → Account → Deactivate My Account.
- At the bottom of the page, under the text “To permanently delete your account, click here,” click the link and confirm.
Permanently deleting your account removes your membership in the HumanizeHer community along with your activity, posts, and the personal data associated with your account.
Request deletion by email
If you no longer have access to the app, or prefer to make the request directly, email Mighty Networks support (the platform that powers the HumanizeHer app) at help@mightynetworks.com with the subject line “Delete my HumanizeHer account” from the email address associated with your account. They will verify your identity, process the deletion, and confirm once it is complete — normally within 30 days.
You may also use the same address to request deletion of specific data without deleting your entire account — for example, removing your posts or profile details while remaining a member.
What is deleted, and what is retained

Any data we are required to retain is kept only for as long as the law requires and is not used for any other purpose.
