Severe flooding has impacted communities across Hawai'i, affecting families' access to safe water, food, and basic necessities. We came to celebrate Women's History Month. What we didn't expect was to be called to serve it.
We met with Kalei Gamiao, whose entire community — like so many others — was devastated by the floods. We listened. We asked what was needed. Then we acted. To date, $14,000 has been distributed directly to 13 families — every dollar tracked, verified, and going straight to the people who need it.
The local Hawai'i community is already showing up through established organizations doing incredible work. Our role is to amplify that globally through the HumanizeHer network.
